BlackBerry Torch Leather Holster Review

Hi, I have a blackberry already with internet and unlimited texting. My contract ends in about 1 week and I am planning to get the HTC Droid, if i do so would my bill stay the same as it is with the blackberry with the htc droid. I know about the 30$ data and internat plan and 25$ for unlimited text but any other charges to be added?

I agree your bill should stay the same, but I disagree that you need the Mot. Droid. I think it depends on the person and what you want. I have the HTC Droid and I am more than happy with it. I would suggest you research the specs. for each and see if you really need the more expensive phone. To me a little less memory and not having as fancy of a camera was well worth the money saved, but you may like the extras.

My phone fell into a puddle, so for now i have my old lg. I want to buy a blackberry on ebay and activate, but i do not know if i would need to pay for the extra features, such as internet.

Is the Blackberry you are looking to buy on the same network provider?

If it is you can request a new SIM card from your network provider and use the Blackberry as a normal phone. If you wanted to use the full features, such as internet, email, MMS you would need to update your contract to a Blackberry plan.

If the phone is not with the same network as your old phone you could get it unlocked and use it as a normal phone. If you are on a pay monthly contract you can contact your provider and request an NUC (Network Unlock Code) to do this, otherwise bring it to a phone shop to get unlocked – about £20. This will not give you the full features though (internet, email, MMS)

I’ve an annoying grey box with “No event” text on the home screen of my Samsung Pixon that I cannot get rid of?

A couple of days ago a grey box appeared on the home screen of my Pixon mobile phone that just would not go away. The square box has “No event” text displayed in the middle of it and it can be dragged on the screen to any position but there seem to be no way closing it (there is no cross in the top right corner of the box for instance). I have tried switching the phone on & off, even replacing the SIM card, but this grey box would not go away.

hey hey. its a ‘widget’ for the organiser on the phone. to remove it simply tap the arrow at the left had of the screen and the slide the icon over to the bar thats on the side. this basically allow you to select your most popular features and set them as shortcuts onto the homepage.
