I have not been impressed with any of the designs Blackberry has to offer, and same goes for the iTouch/iPhone. Granted their features are smart and very cool. But if BB made a Nokia communicator-type phone I would buy it without hesitation!
Because BBs are more for business than anything else. Its really functionality over design. However, the newed devices are both technologically advance and esthetically pleasing as compared to other devices.
Businesses don't use Nokias or iPhones as data devices. They use Treo's or BBs
BB has a flip called Peral Flip and it also has a Touch Screen phone called Storm
Im looking for a new phone and i see in the description that some phones are PDA and are a smartphone but i don't know what that is!!!

Basically I want a javascript function to be called when an html element is rendered. I am currently using iframes or the img tag to simulate the htc event ondocumentready since those are the only html elements supporting the onload property. It all works well, is there a better way?
try putting the javascript code right underneath the html element that you are waiting for to render.
for example:
<html>
<body>
<p>bla bla bla</p>
<p>bla bla bla</p>
<img src="my_image.jpg" />
<script>alert("image1 is rendered");</script>
<p>bla bla bla</p>
<p>bla bla bla</p>
<img src="my_image.jpg" />
<script>alert("image2 is rendered");</script>
</body>
</html>
For the phone that I have now, you can type 160 characters then it stops you. For the LG Xenon, I know it gives you 160 characters, but can you type more than that then it just sends in different pages, or does it stop you at 160 too?
i have an LG Xenon and u can type 160 letters on one page. if u type more, it sends it in 2 (or more) pages
