I need a new phone! Mine is broken but I don't want to extend my plan any longer because I want a new service. Do you know where I can buy new T-Mobile cell phones without adding a plan?

You have many options because T-Mobile is GSM and you can just put your SIM card in another phone.

You can buy a prepaid phone from Wal-Mart, Target, etc. These are cheap, low-end but good phones with no contract. And you can sell the prepaid SIM and activation kit on eBay for a little bit of money back.

You can buy a T-Mobile branded phone through the likes of eBay

You can buy an unlocked GSM phone. It NEEDS to have the 1900 band, and it SHOULD have the 850 band as well (T-Mobile doesn't use it but some of their roaming partners do).

If you're on a MyFaves plan it's a little more restricted. Most phones do not have the MyFaves firmware. No unlocked and unbranded phone will. Most prepaid kits won't (but some newer ones may have phones with the MyFaves firmware on them – and they won't be marked to let you know). Be careful even when buying a phone listed on T-Mobile's site as MyFaves – only the latest T-Mobile branded firmware versions have MyFaves. Even older T-Mobile branded ones (and many current prepay kits) won't have the MyFaves firmware.

It's a simple SIM card swap to get it working.

If you bought a phone unlocked and not setup for T-Mobile, then go to tmobileusotw.wdsglobal.com to send the phone the T-Mobile data settings for multimedia messages and T-Zones (WAP)

Well, let me just say that the Blackberry storm is one of the greatest phones i’ve ever used in my life. Really when you push down on the screen the fact that it clicks and pushes in is great for the accuracy of what your are pressing. It is very fast and has great features. Truly a great phone.

I want the Cingular 8525 but I'm not sure if i'll be able to get it with the same plan that my family wants go get from radioshack or where ever because it comes with unlmiited texting for every line for 29.99 and I don't see where that option is online. So, if radioshack doesn't have the phone that I want can I just get a free one and take out the sims card and put it in the PDA phone?

The phone and the sim card have to be cingular. If you buy a phone thats not cingular with a cingular sim card, it wont work, you would have to unlock that phone, the problem with that is that most unlocked phones have internet issues. They cant connect and cannot download anything due to carriers settings. There are ways to change the settings on some phones but on my experience the only ones that work are the razr series by motorola… U can try it though…

What is the difference between an original and fake apple iphone?

well there are alot of fake iphones on ebay, (a88, t32, i32, i68, daxian x999, p168, LH01, a8+, p168+,) to name a few, but the ones that are most like the iphone have an actual capacitive screen, meaning you can use your fingers and a stylus, not just your fingers or a stylus like in most phones, they have all the features that a regualr iphone has, except wifi and 8gb, also theyre not as responsive, and dont have 3G, but hey, they're $400-$500 cheaper

I was thinking of getting the htc diamond, but not so sure if it is any good. Some reviews have said that it very similar to the iphone. But smaller and stylish. What do you think of this phone?
